Enrolling in a Course

How do I enrol?

Enrolment is a two-part process requiring students to apply as a student of BCV at the commencement of your studies and then each semester enrol for your units. As a result you must now complete two forms when enrolling in the distance program - the BCV Distance Learning application form and BCV Distance Learning enrolment form.

Please note that all students must supply certified copies of transcripts of their previous studies on their initial enrollment. Continuing students do not need to resubmit this material.

BCV's policy regarding privacy is also available.

Send both completed forms to the BCV Distance Learning Centre by surface mail or fax.

What if I have already completed some study elsewhere?

If you have already completed some course subjects with other colleges or have relevant experience that meant you would not be gaining anything new from sitting a particular subject, you may apply for advanced standing (sometimes known as credit transfer or recognition of prior learning).  At the commencement of your course you must complete the credit application form and submit it to the BCV Board of Studies along with any supporting documentation such as transcripts, outlines of subjects completed, etc.  Details of how to do this can be found on the form itself.
