Staying Connected
Our graduates are important to us and we want to stay in touch with you - whether you are down the road, around the country or across the world.
Keep up to date with BCV news through the Ambassador and other publications. Some articles from recent issues of Ambassador can be seen from this website, but if you would like to receive copies by post, or become a strategic partner, contact Reception on 61 3 9735 0011 or by emailing reception@bcv.vic.edu.au.
The Alumni Association aims to be a way you can maintain your links with the college. Stay in touch with your former classmates through news on the website (see the Where are they now section) - but to do this we need you to tell us what you've been up to since you graduated. Send an email to moliver@bcv.vic.edu.au
BCV also holds regular events for past students, friends of BCV, members of the public and BCV's strategic partners, for example, dinners for those in Christian leadership and lectures on mission and topical Christian issues.
With a theme of `Impacting The Next Generation', this is a wonderful opportunity for our MBI/BCV family to meet together and re-connect with old friends. Browse through our displays featuring photographs of MBI/BCV over the past 88 years (you may find yourself displayed!) We will hear stories from some of our graduates and celebrate with them how God has used them both in Australia and overseas. Our new Vice-Principal Sam Reeve will make a brief address. [more info]
An Alumni morning tea will be held on Tuesday, 4 November 2008. Many people told us after last year's dinner how disappointed they were that they were unable to attend an evening function. We are delighted to reinstate the `Cup Day' afternoon tea, which was so popular in previous years.
No cost, but please RSVP for catering purposes. [more info]
The Community Prayer Events are days when the college community comes together before God to pray for the nation, the world, the college and each other.
The dates for the community prayer events for 2008 are Wednesday 16 April, Tuesday 26 August, and Thursday 9 October. Participation is a must for full time faculty, staff and students. BCV supporters, partners, friends and part time students are encouraged to come and join in if they can. Classes are cancelled for the day.
On the third Tuesday of each month (except July), starting at 10.15am, our intercessors get together to pray on campus at Lilydale and to have lunch with the BCV community. Interested in joining us? Contact Reception on 9735 0011 for more information.
