Campus facilities and resources

The main campus on 5 hectares overlooks the township of Lilydale, 38km east of Melbourne, with stunning views of Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley.  Other campuses are the Mission Aviation Training School at Coldstream, 10kms from Lilydale, and the BCV Chinese Department at Burwood (a separate prospectus is available for Chinese Programs).

With elected representatives, students have the opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities in such areas as mission, campus administration, prayer and worship.  BCV looks after the pastoral care of students through support groups led by faculty, and by making pastoral carers and counsellors available. The college produces a weekly newsletter to keep everyone in touch with what is happening, and significant notices and events are posted on the college website.

The J W Searle Library is outstanding, growing resource of over 45,000 books, 300 journals, audio cassettes, CDs, DVDs, videos and microfilm.  Online access to journals is available both on and off campus to all students.

Accommodation for singles, married couples and families is available on the Lilydale campus. There is ample opportunity for fun and fitness as well as study, with a tennis court, swimming pool and gymnasium for student use, and the large Main Common Room for dining, leisure and recreation.
